Elyse MacDonald, PharmD, MS, BCPS is the pharmacy manager for the Investigational Drug Service at the University of Utah Health. Prior to this position, she was a drug information specialist with the University of Utah Drug Information Service.
Dr. MacDonald earned a BS in Biochemistry from Cedar Crest College located in Allentown, PA and a MS in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Lehigh University located in Bethlehem, PA. She received her PharmD from Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Health Professions. She completed her Pharmacy Practice Residency at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center and her Drug Information specialty residency at University of Utah Health. Prior to pharmacy school, Dr. MacDonald worked in the pharmaceutical industry as an analytical chemist and then as a project leader in clinical supplies.
