Chris is the department's sUAS Program Coordinator, a Task Force Officer (TFO) with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), and serves as Technical Adviser to the NC Criminal Justice Information Network Board (CJIN) for Unmanned Systems. He is a retired U.S. Army Non-Commissioned Officer and also served in the U.S. Navy. He has extensive experience in the Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (SUAS) industry as a Master Trainer and served as a SUAS Operator during a fifteen month deployment to Operation Enduring Freedom with the 82nd Airborne Division. Chris is FAA Part 107 Certified, an Instructor for multiple Unmanned System Platforms, and is a Public Safety Diver/ Instructor.
