Bio
Srikanth (Srik) Gurrapu is a member of TI’s embedded processors software team, where he focuses on edge AI applications. He has been with Texas Instruments for 20 years, and previously worked as marketing manager for the Sitara™ embedded Arm®-based processors division driving growth in industrial applications such as factory, building and grid automation. Srik also led several business segments as well as multi-core SoC development for DLP products and mixed signal devices for industrial, medical, HiRel and audio and video markets.
Srik has a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Dallas, a master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Kansas, and completed a graduate marketing program from SMU Cox School Of Business. He has three patents in embedded processing and multi-media architectures and is an emeritus Member of Technical Staff at Texas Instruments. He wrote several papers and presented in several conferences such as Motion & Drives, International DLP Symposium, Audio Engineering Society, MEPTEC and DCAS.
