Edward Gay received a bachelor's degree in chemical technology from the University of Cincinnati in 2006. Shortly after graduation, he was employed as a new technology research and development chemist. Within his role, he utilized a corotating twin-screw extruder as a continuous reactor for product development and scaled numerous formulations to production extruders. After 10 years in the industry, Edward joined KraussMaffei Corporation as a process engineer, at which his areas of focus include adhesives, batch to continuous conversion, emulsification and recycling. Over the course of his 17-year professional career, he has developed, commercialized and patented numerous products and led multiple exhibitions.
