Jeff O’Bannon is a fifth-generation farmer and 2020 4R Advocate. He is an owner and operator of the Morgan-O’Bannon Family Farm near Madison, Missouri which covers 9,500 acres in Monroe and Audrain Counties. O'Bannon received a BS Degree from UCM, Warrensburg, MO, and returned to the family farm full-time in 2010. He found his niche in expanding precision farming technology and improving fertility and soil health. Together with his brother, Jay, they raise corn and soybeans, and together they own a trucking business. They also own an equipment business that sells after-market parts and planter attachments that aid in reduced tillage systems.
