Melissa Adamski is a graduate of St Catherine University and has been working in mental health for 14 years. Melissa has a special interest in adults with sensory integration dysfunction and adults with intellectual disabilities. Melissa has been the past chair for the MOTA Developmental Disabilities Special Interest Group and served on the Government Affairs committee. Melissa has also been a peer reviewer through MOTA. She has been a co-facilitator of Buried in Treasures Workshops and enjoys mentoring student interns. Melissa is an advocate for individuals with mental illness and gives numerous presentations to educate others about the benefits of occupational therapy for everyone to “live life to the fullest”.
