Hello! My name is Rashmi Bharadwaj and I am a rising senior at Vanderbilt University. I am majoring in Public Policy and minoring in Neuroscience on the pre-med track. As a health policy enthusiast, I have spent my time at Vanderbilt finding active ways to influence U.S healthcare. From working on a CDC-sponsored research study for pediatric respiratory illness and gastroenteritis at Vanderbilt University Medical Center to interning at the Tennessee Justice Center, I have had the opportunity to play a role in addressing vaccine and public healthcare policy. To broaden my perspective on different healthcare systems, I studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark during Fall 2020 (DIS Copenhagen). Aside from my medical interests, I am keen on improving access to educational tools and resources. I have been working as a college admissions consultant and essay reviewer for three years. I believe that having a strong, informed, and experienced support system is imperative for putting your best foot forward during the college application process. From finding your voice through your personal statement to building your confidence for interviews, I hope to guide you as you navigate this important part of your educational journey.
