Dr. Lansang is Professor of Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine/Case Western Reserve University, director of Endocrinology at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, and director of the Inpatient Diabetes Services in the department of Endocrinology. She chairs the Cleveland Clinic Diabetes Care Committee. She directs an endocrine course at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine has served in the faculty council at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
Dr. Lansang had her endocrine clinical and research fellowship training at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, during which time she obtained her degree in Master of Public Health at the Harvard School of Public Health. She stayed on as faculty before moving to the University of Florida in Gainesville, where she was interim chief of the Division of Endocrinology before transferring to the Cleveland Clinic in 2010.
Her research and educational activities and publications have focused on inpatient and outpatient diabetes. She has been the recipient of medical education and clinical grants, and is on the editorial board of the Endocrine Practice and the British Medical Journal Open Diabetes Research & Care.
