Geoff Castle is the Lead Portfolio Manager of Pender's Fixed Income portfolios, having managed the Pender Corporate Bond Fund since September 2015, as well as the Pender Bond Universe Fund since its inception in January 2020.
In both 2018 and 2019 the Pender Corporate Bond Fund was recognised with a Lipper Fund Award, which is awarded for superior risk-adjusted returns. Both the Pender Corporate Bond and Bond Universe Funds were recognized with Fundata FundGrade A+® awards for consistent outperformance against peers on a risk-adjusted basis for the entire year of 2022. This was the fourth time the Pender Corporate Bond Fund had received this recognition.
Geoff’s experience as a professional investor spans two decades, and includes experience in both public mutual funds and proprietary investment fund management for ultra-high net worth individuals.
Geoff holds a Master of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
