Sarah completed her MSc in Animal Physiology and Biology at the University of Western Ontario in 2016. Throughout her academic training, her published research focused on mitochondrial function and the biochemistry of hibernation in ground squirrels (yes...super obscure, she knows!). In her present role at InsideScientific, she is passionate about creating and sharing scientific information with the world in the form of webinars, blog posts, publication reviews, and virtual events. On a regular day you'll find her obsessing over her tiny (but mighty!) dog and maintaining her ever-growing plant collection that has slowly taken over her entire dining room.
