Dr. Varun Singh co-founded callstats.io, the leading performance monitoring service for real-time communications service providers. Founded in 2014 and acquired by 8x8 in 2020, he grew callstats.io from an idea to millions in recurring revenue and ran a global team.
A recognized subject matter expert in communications, Dr. Singh is a highly sought speaker at technology and entrepreneurship events. He is the coauthor of 12 IETF and W3C specifications and has been awarded multiple patents for real-time communications. He received his Ph.D in multimedia networks from Aalto University, Helsinki, Finland and his thesis was awarded special mention by ACM Multimedia in 2016.
