Valeria (Val) Gutierrez is a rising sophomore ('24) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a possible double major in Astronomy, and minoring in Music. Val hopes to combine her interests in robotics, AI, and outer space to develop technology that will further the exploration of our universe.
In her free time, Val likes to make robots, paint, dance, and learn new instruments. She's a member of Mocha Moves and Miss Behavior, two of MIT's competitive dance teams, as well as Harvard Ballet Company. She plays the violin, and is in the process of learning guitar and piano!
