Rebecca has taught PSHE education since qualifying as a teacher in 2009. She has held roles as Head of PSHE, Citizenship and Politics and has particular interests in pupil voice and inclusion. Before training as a teacher, she worked as a campaigner for a national disability charity and worked with young people to help them to run their own social justice campaigns.
Rebecca is passionate about PSHE education and the role it can play in developing young peoples’ skills and attributes and preparing them for the complexities of the world today. Before joining the PSHE association, Rebecca wrote PSHE resources for a range of national projects and brands on topics including personal finance, physical and mental health.
In her spare time, Rebecca loves to spend time with her young children and enjoys baking, walks in the countryside and trips in her rusty campervan, Benny.
