Bio
Andrea Viski founded the Strategic Trade Research Institute in 2017, where she serves as Director. She founded the Strategic Trade Review, a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to trade controls, in 2015, and has since served as its Editor-in-Chief. She cooperates with various organizations providing expertise and capacity for research, training, and project implementation. She is an adjunct professor at the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University. Viski is also a Research Associate at the Center for International and Security Studies at the University of Maryland and a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the University of Georgia’s Center for International Trade and Security. She has published extensively in the areas of trade controls, nonproliferation, nuclear security, and international law.
