Bio
Beth joined Aptar in April of 2013 to develop our initial global sustainability strategy. From 2017 through 2019, her role expanded to include the development of our global Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) strategy and programs.

An Environmental Engineer by degree, Beth began her career working for Arcadis, a global environmental consulting firm, and then joined General Electric as a multi-site EHS Manager. She later transitioned to Ingersoll Rand Company to lead Lean/Six Sigma and EHS for more than 50 sales and service centers throughout North, Central and Latin America. While with Ingersoll Rand, she was among an elite cohort selected for a company-sponsored Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program with Indiana University and recognized with several President’s Awards for her leadership on multiple strategic initiatives, including an “Inspiring Progress within the Community” award for her personal efforts fundraising for the non-profit Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. In 2019, the National Association for Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHS&S) Management honored Beth with a Leadership in Action Award.

Today, Aptar is an industry sustainability leader and is becoming a go-to thought-leader for plastic packaging within the circular economy. A few recent recognitions for Aptar have been Newsweek’s Top 100 of America’s Most Responsible Companies, Barron's Top 100 Most Sustainable Companies, Gold Ecovadis Sustainability rating, Le Point’s Most Responsible Companies in France.

Beth and her partner live in North Carolina, U.S.A. on Lake Norman with nine-year-old son, Luke, and their two cats. Together they enjoy various watersports, hiking and entertaining in their home. She is personally involved with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), serving as a mentor to parents of newly diagnosed children.
