Ratnasri Karra is the founder of Her-mony, a financial planning and advisory service, that believes in empowering women to take ownership of their financial lives.
She is an Arts Graduate from Calcutta University, and is the topper of her batch of 1989 from Shri Shikshayatan College.
Ratnasri has a rich experience in Banking and Financial Management. She started her career with ANZ Grindlays Bank in 1991. She was with the bank till 1994 when she took a break for maternity.
She went on to do her CFA and PGDBA with specialization in Information Technology from ICFAI in 1998 after her daughter was born.
Post her CFA, she started a software training and development center in Bangalore in 1999.
Since 2001, she chose to move out from active work-life and put her family first. During the break of almost 15 years she actively managed her personal portfolio and was informally advising friends on finances. This is what translated into her venture Her-Mony in 2013.
She is a proud parent of a 25-year-old daughter and a 18-year-old son.
She is a serious yoga practitioner and deeply interested in music and dance.
