Bio
Dr. Ir. Ewoud Verhoef (1973) was born in Newton, Massachusetts, USA. He studied chemical technology at Delft University of Technology, where he also received his PhD on waste management. He joined COVRA N.V. in 2005 and was appointed deputy director in 2009. Ewoud is responsible for among others communication, research and development at COVRA. Ewoud has lead the Dutch national programme on geological disposal, is the chair of the ERDO association for multinational radioactive waste solutions in Europe. He is member of the board of Royal Netherlands Society of Engineers, section Nuclear technology, and the Netherlands Nuclear Society.
