Michael serves as the Managing Director of Bunker One LNG, the operational arm of Bunker Holding Group. With over 35 years of extensive experience in the shipping industry, Michael brings invaluable expertise and leadership to the organization. He holds both a Master and Chief Engineer License and has commanded ultra-large container vessels.
Throughout his career, Michael has demonstrated a commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility within the maritime sector. He led a green team at one of the major container shipping companies, spearheading the conversion of the first ultra-large container vessel retrofit to LNG. His strategic vision resulted in the successful LNG supply management for an entire fleet, as well as the pioneering of the first-ever ship-to-ship Bio LNG supply to a container vessel.
In 2024, he further solidified his impact on the industry by winning the prestigious ZEMBA tender and joined the Bunker Holding Group, where he continues to drive advancements in marine fuel solutions.
