Emily Nield is a sustainability professional who is deeply passionate about incorporating environmental stewardship, embracing social well-being, and generating economic value in the built environment. She has been in the commercial real estate industry since 2019, previously she was a planetary scientist at NASA. After leaving the space agency to focus on environmental matters, Emily went to the Schulich School of Business where she achieved her MBA with a specialization in Sustainability. She currently works at Triovest as the National Manager of Sustainability and Disclosure where she primarily focuses on building certifications, awards, and disclosures. In 2021, she was recognized as the Young Leader of the Year from Canadian Real Estate Forums
