Stephen Hamilton qualified from the University of Glasgow Medical School in 1991. He obtained a Doctorate from the University College London in 2002 for research into new methods of diagnosing and treating the skin cancer melanoma at the RAFT Institute of Plastic Surgery and was awarded the McGregor Gold Medal for best performance in the UK final plastic surgical “board” exam (FRCS(Plast)).
Dr Hamilton is Clinical Director of Breast and Plastic Surgery at the Royal Free Hospital in London, Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at University College London and Honorary Treasurer of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.
