Bio
Dr. Erika Holt is an expert in radioactive waste management and holds a PhD (2001) in Civil Engineering. Her current role is as a Customer Account Lead responsible for VTT’s customer relations and partnerships in the nuclear safety sector. She has been a technical expert at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland for 24 years, earlier as a Principal Scientist and then as a Research Team Leader within the Lifecycle Solutions business area. She has also served as the Program Manager of VTT’s program for Safe and Sustainable Nuclear Energy.
Dr. Holt is currently the co-coordinator of the project “PREDIS: Pre-disposal management of radioactive waste” at VTT, with a focus on the stakeholder engagement issues.
