Yousaf is currently the Chief Pharmacist at Care UK Healthcare group that covers Primary, Secondary, Health in Justice settings and services. Yousaf has extensive experience within Secondary Care, in the past he has primarily worked in large acute trusts and teaching hospitals across the UK and for a short period internationally in the Middle East. He has represented Pharmacy at a national level in the UK through various committee memberships with UK Clinical Pharmacy Association (UKCPA) and the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) bodies and as a advisor on a NICE panel committee. More recently he has been appointed to the governing council of the General Pharmaceutical Council. In addition to leading a large co-hort of pharmacy professionals, Yousaf's chosen clinical specialism is Pain management and he continually works on caring for patients within this complex disease setting. Yousaf has had a number of teacher practitioner roles across universities in the UK and regularly lectures, presents and participates on national pharmacy related workstreams. He is passionate about workforce transformation, innovation in practice, continual improvement in patient care as well as helping to shape the vision of pharmacy for the future globally.
