Neil Retallic is an optometrist, educator, and researcher with experience spanning clinical practice, professional services, academia, and leadership roles both in the UK and internationally. He is Head of Optometry Development at Specsavers and an Assessor and Examiner for the College of Optometrists. Neil is currently completing a PhD on mental well being within the optical profession at the University of Bradford. He regularly authors articles and speaks at conferences and CPD events. He has also held numerous committee positions, including serving as BCLA President and as a member of the GOC Education Committee. His professional interests include clinical optometry, contact lenses, collaboration, and supporting the development of others across the profession.
