Paul Cowley is on the leadership team at Holy Trinity Brompton, and founded the charity Caring for Ex-Offenders. He served in the army for seventeen years before becoming a priest in the Church of England and a volunteer chaplain at HM Prison Wormwood Scrubs. Paul has twenty-five years experience of working with socially excluded and vulnerable adults, and is the Bishops’ Advisor to Prisons in London. With his wife Amanda, he ministers to Holy Trinity Brompton’s fifth site, an estate church in North Kensington. In 2015 he was awarded an MBE for services to ex-offenders. His autobiography, Thief Prisoner Soldier Priest was published by Hodder Stoughton in April 2020.
