Chris heads up the tax services provided by our experienced team. He joined us from a big 4 firm in November 2021 as Tax Director, having qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor in 2011 and as a Trust and Estate Practitioner in 2013, winning the prize for best Scottish student for the latter. Chris was promoted to partner in April 2024 and he has been working in practice since 2008 with large national or international firms, working mainly with owner managed businesses providing support across all personal and business tax issues dealing with a wide variety of sectors. He also has experience from his time with a big 4 firm of dealing with large multinationals and their corporate tax affairs, including complex international transactions.
