Bio
Following her degree in Business Administration from St. Gallen University, Switzerland, Verena worked for over 15 years in logistics and the transport industry in Switzerland and the UK. In 2011 she was awarded the doctoral in engineering degree from Technical University in Berlin, Germany. Since 2010 she has been working in research and academics. Verena’s research focus is on the improvement of efficiency of the freight transport system, including the impact of technical and structural innovations. She has been working in cooperation with industry and municipalities on the topic of electric vehicles for freight and commercial transport and has led several highly innovative projects related to the topic.
