Lauryn Burdette received a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 2018. While at the University of Cincinnati, she participated in the co-op program and completed five co-op rotations with KraussMaffei Corporation—the last two which were at their facility in Hannover, Germany. Shortly after graduation, she was emplyed as a process engineer at KraussMaffei, where her areas of focus are recycling, highly filed, and sheet processing.
