Niharika Mohan is the Chief Human Resources Officer for the Greater India Zone at Schneider Electric. She has two decades plus years of experience, including over 18 years with the Schneider Electric Group, leading people strategy and organizational transformation across diverse businesses and geographies.
In her current role, Niharika leads the People and Culture function across Schneider Electric India and its group brand, Lauritz Knudsen. She is responsible for driving talent strategy, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, workforce transformation, and fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture across one of Schneider Electric's largest and fastest-growing markets.
Over the course of her career with Schneider Electric, Niharika has held several leadership positions across business partnering, rewards, organizational transformation, and regional HR leadership. Her experience spans multiple international markets across India, East Asia, Japan, the Middle East, the Pacific, and South America.
Prior to her current role, Niharika served as Vice President – Human Resources for Secure Power International at Schneider Electric, based in Dubai, where she led people strategy and transformation across a diverse portfolio of markets. Earlier, from 2020 to 2023, she was Chief Human Resources Officer at Luminous Power Technologies, a Schneider Electric Group company, where she successfully led cultural integration, talent transformation, and people continuity initiatives during the COVID-19 period.
Niharika joined Schneider Electric in 2008 and has played a pivotal role in strengthening the company's talent ecosystem, advancing leadership capabilities, and championing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
She is passionate about building future-ready organizations by creating an environment where people can thrive, innovate, and contribute meaningfully to sustainable business growth. She is seen as a transformative leader and her focus remains on developing skills for the future, nurturing future leaders, and enabling organizations to adapt to the evolving world of work.
Before joining Schneider Electric, Niharika worked with multinational organizations including Tata Consultancy Services and Aon Hewitt.
She holds graduate and postgraduate degrees from the University of Delhi and is successfully trained through executive education programmes at INSEAD. She is also a certified coach and an assessor.
