Bio
As President of ReVision Energy, Fortunat is responsible for managing overall company operations across ReVision Energy's residential, commercial and service business units. He leads the executive team in developing and executing the company’s strategic plan, advancing the company’s mission to decarbonize New England’s economy and serving our diverse stakeholders including co-owners, customers, vendors, our community and the planet.
Fortunat received both his Masters and BS in Mechanical engineering from Brown University with a concentration in thermodynamics and fluid mechanics and is a licensed Professional Engineer in ME and NH. Fortunat also serves on The State of Maine’s Climate Council Equity Subcommittee and is a Captain on the North Yarmouth Volunteer Fire Department.
Before joining ReVision energy to start the Portland office in 2006, Fortunat was a project manager and senior systems engineer at United Technologies Fuel Cells in Hartford, CT.
