Astrid Lunkes is currently Director of Scientific Portfolio Management and Strategy at the Helmholtz Zentrum Munich. During her Ph.D. in Germany and a postdoc time in France, she researched the causes of neurodegenerative diseases. She has held key positions in science management, strategy development, and science policy at major European organizations and research centers. She is also a certified MBSR Instructor and Mediator.
