Bio
Rosleny Ubinas is the Youth Representative of the Baha’is of the United States to the United Nations. In her work, she strives to build unity and higher levels of consensus for the betterment of society in the discourse areas of gender equity, race unity and meaningful youth participation through a spiritual and moral lens. Rosleny was part of the planning committees for various conferences: 62nd, 63rd and 64th United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, the United Nations 67th United Nations DPI/NGO Conference and 68th Civil Society Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is serving her second term as Chair of the UN Department of Global Communications Youth Representatives Steering Committee.
Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, Rosleny spends her free time animating the Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program with youth from the area learning together to grow their moral and spiritual qualities through conducting service projects that uplift, engage, and improve their communities.
