Betty Shepherd joined Great American in 2018 to establish the Company’s Cyber Risk Division. Betty oversees existing cyber underwriting operations and coordinates product management and development on all Great American cyber products in addition to providing strategic direction regarding opportunistic growth within this space.
Prior to joining Great American, Betty spent six years as a wholesale broker and was responsible for placing and negotiating Cyber Risk & Technology E&O insurance for organizations of all sizes. Betty has been focused on cyber risk since 2002. She developed several primary cyber risk insurance policies while employed at RLI and Arch Insurance Group. She has also held senior underwriting positions at Zurich, Reliance National and began her insurance career at AIG in 1990.
