Susan Wheeldon has been Airbnb’s Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand since October 2019.
Susan joined Airbnb from Google, where she spent four years in a variety of roles, including Head of Government and Performance, and Head of Agency.
Passionate about entrepreneurial management, she has more than 20 years of experience across the digital, e-commerce, legal, aviation and property sectors.
Susan has held previous positions as Vice President of Groupon, and Founder and Manager of Virgin Atlantic’s International Exchange Program, as well as Head of Brand and Retail at AMP Capital, which delivered more than $5 billion in revenue from the firm’s 38 retail assets in Australia and New Zealand.
Susan has an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management and holds a number of board positions, including Non-Executive Director of Centuria Capital Limited.
