Adrienne Sedlak is the Training Manager at Qualistar Colorado, a statewide organization that strives to elevate the quality of early childhood education in Colorado by improving the everyday practice of professionals, and by building, safe, supportive environments. Adrienne joined Qualistar in 2016 and works to provide high-quality professional development opportunities for early childhood education professionals across the state.

Prior to joining Qualistar, Adrienne was the Education and Volunteer Coordinator and then the Co-Manager of Education at the Plains Conservation Center. While there, Adrienne developed and implemented mission-focused educational opportunities for schools and families. She developed the organization's volunteer recruitment and engagement strategy, and she supported the organization's fundraising efforts.

Adrienne was a preschool teacher for four years. She started her teaching career in Washington D.C. as a Teach for America Corps Member, and she returned to Colorado in 2010 and was a lead preschool teacher for Aurora Public Schools.

Adrienne received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Environmental Science from the University of Denver and a Master of Education: Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University. She has been involved with several education and environmental nonprofit organizations in Colorado and Washington D.C.

Adrienne believes in the importance of connecting young children to nature as a way of nurturing their curiosity and providing them with the skills they need to be successful.
