Elizabeth Suarez has been a transportation professional for over twenty years and currently serves as the Director of Aviation for the City of McAllen. As the Director for McAllen International Airport, Elizabeth oversees the operation of McAllen’s aviation system, including joint-use commercial aviation and general aviation. She previously served as the City of McAllen’s Transit / Downtown Services Director where she was responsible for the operation of public transportation and public parking services for the City of McAllen. Elizabeth earned a B.A. and M.A. in Political Science from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX.
