Cody Newman is a 14-year-old singer/songwriter from Charleston, SC. She became a Radio Disney Artist in 2019 and will be featured by Billboard as part of their Breakout Artist Series in early 2020.
She started falling in love with music at the age of six. What started out as after school guitar lessons soon turned into a love of singing, songwriting and playing not only guitar but also ukulele, piano, violin and a tiny bit of drums.
She has performed in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa, Charleston, SC, Nashville, and Portland, ME. She sang the National Anthem for the Scottsdale Little League, The Carolina Stingrays and the Charleston Riverdogs.
She is currently a high school Freshman as a Vocal Major at her local Charter Arts School and she has released her debut EP, "End of Infinity" in September of 2019.
