Chris is the co-chair of the NHS-R technical advisory group and provides support to his healthcare provider organisation with a broad range of tasks relating to the storage, collation, analysis, and reporting of different types of data, especially patient, carer, and staff experience data. Chris uses machine learning and statistical approaches and has a particular interest in text mining and regression methods as applied to longitudinal datasets within healthcare settings. A large part of Chris's work relates to the use of Shiny to deliver business intelligence and insights derived from statistical and machine learning models, and Chris is heavily involved in data ops and other work relating to the productionising applications of R and Shiny.
