Madeline J.L. Ravesloot, MD, PhD, MSc is a Consultant in Otorhinolaryngology
at OLVG, Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Dr Ravesloot completed her residency
training in Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at the Amsterdam
Medical Centre, Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Furthermore she completed a
master in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Amsterdam and is a
certified somnologist. Her main focus both in research as well as clinically
are sleep related breathing disorders and rhinology. She is a member of many
professional societies, board member of the International Sleep Surgical
Society, has published articles in scientific journals and textbooks, is a
reviewer for specialty journals, frequently lectures nationally and
internationally, and serves on several national and international
committees.
She is also has a passion for education and giving back to the community and
is an active board member of the medical technical committee of Foundation
EarDrop and teaches ENT residents and clinical officers, as well as
supervising surgeries in East Africa once a year.
