Dr. Muhammad Saeed is serving as a Professor at the School of Education, and also holds the responsibility of Executive Director of the Center for Research and Development at Minhaj University Lahore. He possesses about 40 years’ experience in teaching, research, and administration in teacher education institutions of Pakistan.
Dr. Saeed did his M.Ed (1989) from University of the Punjab, Lahore, Ph.D from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (1997), and Post Doc in teacher mentoring from University of Bradford, UK (2007).
Dr. Saeed has supervised a number of Ph.D and Master theses in the field of Education and allied disciplines. He has contributed to over 140 research papers, nine books, many book chapters, and training manuals. He has conducted many research and training projects funded by the Government of Pakistan, Higher Education Commission Pakistan, Punjab Higher Education Commission, UNESCO, The World Bank, DFID, Cambridge Education, UNICEF, CIDA, USAID and University of the Punjab. He has interests in social science research methodologies, curriculum and assessment, and academic writing.
