Bio
Dr. Mellon is co-leader of the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center Neuro-Oncology Site Disease Group, where he leads and helps patients through numerous clinical trials for brain tumors. His Ph.D. in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is used to develop and implement new advanced imaging techniques for brain and spine tumors to improve treatment safety and cure rate. He has written over fifty peer-reviewed journal articles to advance radiation treatment and imaging for a variety of cancers.
