A seasoned communications professional, Ward works with clients whose business takes place in the public square, and desires to do so in a strategic way that mitigates risk and builds goodwill. Before establishing Blueprint Alaska, Ward worked at Alaska Oil and Gas Association (AOGA), during which she honed her skills with hands-on experience in public affairs and advocacy work. From playing pivotal roles in campaigns to preserve oil tax reform to serving as spokesperson for statewide organizations and elected officials, her experience and reputation in Alaska is well established. Ward was named the Public Relations Society of America Alaska Chapter’s “Communicator of the Year” in 2017. She is also accredited in public relations (APR) by the Public Relations Society of America.
