Leonard came to commercial real estate from an earlier career focused on highly sustainable rural and residential land development. Since 2013, Leonard has played a crucial role in all phases of Beam Development's work, from project conception through construction, and extending into the long-term asset management of Beam's stabilized portfolio. He has most recently led Beam's collaboration with Urban Development Partners on District Office, a six-story cross-laminated timber office building in Portland's Central Eastside.
