Bio
Justin Kramer is the Supervisor for Emerging Technologies for OUC. He leads a team of engineers who research and demonstrate new and cutting-edge technologies to advance OUC's efforts in providing affordable, clean and reliable energy to their customers. Justin is leading an effort to develop real-time situational awareness of grid operations to reduce the effects of High Penetration PV on traditional generation dispatch and increase the portfolio of dispatchable assets. Previously, Justin was a Professional Engineer at RCI Engineering, Inc., an engineering firm specializing in design engineering and project management for a range of engineering projects. Projects including concentrating solar thermal driven Organic Rankine Cycle pilot, off-grid hydrogen research facility, distilleries, and all types of buildings and power systems all over the world. Justin received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida State University and a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida State University. While at FSU, he was the project manager for the Energy and Sustainability Center and developed expertise in Hydrogen Combustion, Building Efficiency, Solar Thermal, Fuel Cell, Electrolysis and PV technologies.
