Jelena was appointed to her current role in January 2025, having previously acted as interim EVP, Strategy. She served as Chief Strategy Officer of RELX, Elsevier’s parent company, since 2019. Prior to that, she was Director of Tax Markets for LexisNexis UK and held various senior management roles in LexisNexis and Elsevier, having joined RELX in 2011. Previously, Jelena was a consultant at Bain & Co and Booz Allen Hamilton. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a master’s degree in law from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Belgrade. Jelena is based in London.
