Kristy McGowan is a high school mathematics teacher at Holy Trinity School in Richmond Hill, Ontario. She has taught at all levels of high school mathematics over her 12 year career and is now particularly interested in promoting student engagement to better student learning and enrich the classroom experience. She has experience with personalization, mastery learning and flipped classrooms. Kristy is particularly interested in improving the attitudes of students towards mathematics and the role of the teacher and students in this process.
