Kristen Poggensee is a purposeful global brand legal manager with 20+ years of experience in the trademark field. Kristen has experience with all aspects of trademark management, including managing global brand portfolios, trademark clearance, filing and prosecution matters, oppositions, domain disputes, social media takedowns, and managing IP issues for the acquisition or divestment of large IP portfolios. Kristen guides Accenture’s Global Brand Team in the development, protection and enforcement of the ACCENTURE brand valued at $20 billion and ranked as No. 31 among the top 100 of the world’s most valuable brands. Prior to joining Accenture, she was a paralegal at Motorola Mobility, a Google company. She started her career at Katten Muchin, a large full-service law firm. She received her MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. Kristen has been appointed to INTA’s Trademark Administrators Committee for 2024-2025. Kristen lives in Erie, CO where she enjoys an active lifestyle trail running and skiing in the Rocky Mountains.
