Bio
Dr Sachin Modi graduated from St George’s - University of London. After completing basic and specialist interventional radiology training in the West Midlands, U.K, he undertook fellowship training in interventional radiology at McGill University, Montreal, Canada. He was appointed consultant interventional radiologist at University Hospital Southampton. His primary passion is interventional oncology and embolotherapy and specialist expertise is in innovative liver directed treatment for primary or metastatic liver cancer.
He was a part of UK-ROPE study for prostate artery embolisation (PAE) which led to the NICE approval of PAE in the U.K in 2018. He is involved in the proctoring and training of IRs in PAE as well as lecturing nationally and internationally on PAE.
