Sam was born and raised in Houston, TX, and is one of four children. He is a junior at American University in the Kogod School of Business, majoring in Business Administration, specializing in Finance. He is also an avid tennis player, and enjoys watching and playing most recreational sports. Additionally, Sam and his friend Clark are in a band called Clam. They can sometimes be found performing rock 'n roll hits from the 60's and 70's in the campus coffee lounge, The Bridge.
