Jo Yarker

Chartered Occupational Psychologist and Professor of Occupational Psychology, Birkbeck Business School

Jo is a Registered and Chartered Occupational Psychologist specialising in health and wellbeing at work. She conducts pioneering research and consultancy to prevent ill-health and support workers to stay in and thrive at work. Jo is Co-Managing Partner of Affinity Health at Work, an award-winning research and consultancy organisation; Professor of Occupational Psychology at Birkbeck, University of London and Co-Director of the London Centre for Work and Health. Jo works with small, medium and large global organisations to develop and implement systemic solutions to improve health and wellbeing. Her research has received funding from the World Health Organisation, the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development, and the UK Health and Safety Executive. She contributes to national guidance and publishes widely to share new knowledge, evidence and tools to promote and sustain health and wellbeing at work.
