Principal, Strategic Energy Management Team Lead, Prism Engineering

Sam is a Senior Consultant with more than 17 years of experience working in the energy management field both in Canada and New Zealand. He leads Prism's Strategic Energy Management (SEM) Team and manages our Kootenay office in Nelson, BC. Sam supports organizations to meet their emission reduction goals through all aspects of energy management, including decarbonization planning, energy audits, recommissioning, mechanical concept design, and renewable energy feasibility studies. Sam is also a lead trainer at Prism for energy management workshops and webinars. Passionate about creating positive change, Sam is one of the only Certified Practitioners in Energy Management Systems (CPEnMS) in Western Canada and uses this in conjunction with his experience to help organizations implement ISO 50001.
